I have been wanting to begin a Blog for several years, and – like anyone else that has pondered the same – there is that one big question … “How do I host it?”

It is a difficult problem to solve; however, for myself it is perhaps a bigger problem that most.  My history with Information Technology goes back to the late ‘70’s with the advent of the Radio Shack TRS-80 Model 1.  I began working as a system integrator in late ‘80’s, and I have been working for Enterprise IT solution providers since the late ‘90’s.  My problem is that I know more about the technology of Web hosting than is good for me.

Every time that I start thinking about setting up a Blog, I get bogged down with all the details of hosting the Blog – instead of focusing on the Blog itself.

Recently, it occurred to me that the exercise of setting up hosting for a personal Web site would probably make for an interesting study.  I thought, why not write a Blog about my experiences in establishing hosting for my various Blog ideas?

This then is my goal with this Blog.  As I navigate my way through this digital jungle, I will do my best to tap into my years of experience in the IT industry to bring my story alive to you my readers.  If the Lord be willing, I hope to put my skills and knowledge of hosting technology and my abilities in the development of technical documentation to good use in these pages to follow.  Perhaps, you may come away with a little nugget or two of helpful information.
